RECEPTION HOURS

7.00 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday
8.00 am to 12.00 pm Sunday and all Public Holidays

CHECK-IN

Normally 2.00 pm, however we endeavour to comply with guest's times whenever possible and early arrivals can usually be catered for. There are guest relaxation and luggage storage areas when accommodation is not ready on arrival.

CHECK-OUT

The check-out time is 10.00 am, but we can sometimes extend this. We also have a day rate subject to availability. The pool and covered area adjacent to it (which has a shower, change room and toilet facilities - with complimentary towels), remains available to guests following check-out.

RESERVATIONS / DEPOSIT

These should be made as early as possible to secure preferred facilities.  

All payments are expressed in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Bookings made 28+ days from scheduled arrival date - A deposit is required of 25% of the total booking value or $50, whichever is the greater.

Bookings made within 28 days of the scheduled arrival date - Full payment is required at the time of booking

We can accept payment via credit card (Visa - Mastercard - Amex)
(Note - payments using Amex are subject to a 3.5% surcharge)

Payments can also be made using electronic funds transfer (EFT)

Deposit Bookings - Deposit paid is forfeited for No Shows or if the booking is cancelled less than 8 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Your deposit, LESS an ADMINISTRATION FEE OF $50, will be refunded if you cancel 8 days or more prior to your scheduled date of arrival.

Full Payment Bookings - Booking payment is forfeited for No Shows or if the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date. For cancellations between 48 hours and 8 days out from the scheduled arrival date a fee equal to 1 nights accommodation will be charged and the remainder refunded. For cancellations that occur 8 days or further out from the scheduled arrival date your booking payment, less a $50 administration fee will be refunded.

APARTMENT ACCOMMODATION

Vacation rental apartments are becoming an increasingly popular choice for travellers because of the additional space and facilities that can be had for much the same cost as hotel rooms and the opportunity to save on food costs by self catering. Grosvenor in Cairns two bedroom apartments offer an even greater saving opportunity for families or groups, and are ideal for two couples travelling together, because the tariff is invariably less than for two separate apartments, yet they provide ample privacy and the duplication of facilities in one of the bedrooms eg: bathroom, television and refrigerator.

When apartments are star rated, it applies to the premises, facilities and services commensurate with what is expected of apartments. Apartments are able to offer the additional benefits without corresponding additional cost by having much lower staff to guest ratios than hotels and resorts. This, by necessity, translates to less services, eg: room services, porterage etc, which is fine for more independent travellers, but may not suit all.

At Grosvenor in Cairns, however, a lower level of service does not mean a lower standard of service. Grosvenor guests, having made the decision to go with the trade-off realities of apartment accommodation, will find the friendly, personal helpful service yet another reason to justify their choice.
